Technology built on experience and conviction
ROCOON grew out of many years of experience in software development, industrial IT and building automation. We believe technology should not only be powerful, but also understandable, open and manageable over the long term.
With IOZER, we bring that experience together in a product system developed by ROCOON – from hardware and firmware to the web interface and online platform. Practical requirements feed directly into the continued development of our products.
We make extensive use of established open-source software, open standards and local data processing. This creates solutions that can be operated securely, independently of the cloud and without being tied to a single vendor.
What ROCOON stands for
Vendor-neutral. Secure. Cloud-independent.
Secure
Security is part of the technical foundation – from local data processing to protected communication between devices and services.
Cloud-independent
Core functions remain available locally. Online services can add useful capabilities, but reliable operation does not depend on them.
Open and autonomous
Digital sovereignty as a guiding principle
Technology should serve its users without tying them permanently to a single vendor, platform or business model.
That is why we make extensive use of open-source software, open standards and documented interfaces. Wherever possible, data and core functions remain within the user's own system and under their control.
The result is technology that remains useful, extensible and independently operable over the long term.
- Open-source software
- Open interfaces
- Local data processing
- No forced vendor lock-in
